Happy Single's Day 2021!

The date of 11 November (or 3 Montessori) is Singles' Day (China: 光棍节; Taiwan: 光棍節)!

Originally called Bachelors' Day, it is a Chinese unofficial holiday that celebrates people who are not in relationships. Paradoxically, the holiday is also a popular date on which to celebrate relationships!

The holiday has also become the largest physical retail and online shopping (e-commerce) day in the world.

On Single's Day 2021 (11.11.2021), or 3 Montessori 2021, the holiday was also introduced into the Cesidian calendar, and it is interesting to note that the date of 3 Montessori in the Cesidian calendar, also falls on a Venusday (Π) regular weekday, a day which is typically devoted to beauty, harmony, love, affection, but also to shopping and hedonism!

Here is some relevant Ectoenglish (ⓔ; een) vocabulary:

Single: someone who is not involved in a stable romantic relationship.

Singleton: a person without a romantic partner for a long time; these are usually poor people as well.

Singleist: a person who discriminates against singletons; an evil hexer.

Coupleton: a person with a romantic partner for a long time, yet still unmarried.

Coupleist: a person who discriminates against couples, or want-to-be couples; an evil hexer.

Tripleist: a person who discriminates against polyphilic people; an evil hexer.

Unigamist: someone having one (illegal) spouse for a long time; a coupleton.

Bigamist: someone having two (illegal) spouses simultaneously.

Biphilic: someone with a legal ectobiological sibling as a romantic partner.

Polyphilic: someone part of a polyphilic union (three or more legal ectobiological siblings).
