ectopolitan

Ectoenglish

Etymology

From Ancient Greek ἐκτός (ektos, "outside") + πολίτης (polites, "citizen"). Coined by Kaisiris Tallini on 01.01.2021 [A1Φ01A2021•247] {Curiosity sol day 3071}. The ectopolitical (29.12.2020), ectopolitics (29.12.2020), and ectopolitician (30.12.2020) coinages came earlier.

Pronunciation

ec·to·pol·i·tan (Google Translate pronunciation)

Adjective and Noun

  1. Outside of the tribally- or politically-dominated (Aristotelian) world, as opposed to the societal or multisocietal (Pythagorean) one.
  2. (of an institution, residence, or station) Composed of people outside of any political system, and whatever relates solely to these systems in the natural world or the universe.
  3. (of a person) Not affected or influenced at all by politics within, or between individual states or countries; not related to, in association with, or even in agreement with the United Nations, and/or the self-serving and illogical dictates of its individual member countries; not expatriates (cosmopolitans), but actually 'exopatriates' (ie ectopolitans), so not just out of the particular country of origin or patria, but outside of any country or patria; a 'delineate' (01.04.2018) — new noun meaning unbounded and/or outlying person — of the world, rather than a citizen of the world; aloft with respect to countries, parties, politics, and greedy and/or unethical commercial concerns, yet not aloof with respect to genuinely ethical human beings, and their families, clans, and completely apolitical congregations.
  4. A person who believes that planet Earth should be a place where there are citizens, but also an abundance of equally respected and honoured expatriates (cosmopolitans), even 'exopatriates' (ie ectopolitans) with equal dignity and opportunities to live, communicate, learn, associate, grow, adapt, and evolve without the influence, or eccessive influence of aloof, yet controlling and completely immoral UN governments and bureaucrats.
  5. A person who believes that planet Earth should be a place where there are domesticated (farm) or captive (zoo) animal species, but also an abundance of wild, gone wild (feral), and even gone unincorporated (ectobattery) animal species, with equal dignity and opportunities to live, communicate, learn, associate, grow, adapt, and evolve without the influence, or eccessive influence of greedy, insensitive, and unethical corporations and plutocrats.
  6. (legal, forensic, spiritual, theological, daimonological, salubriological, psychological, linguistic, journalistic, historical, geological, geographic, astronomical, economic, organisational, societal, demographic, ecological, agricultural, informatic, or educational) Living, communicating, learning, associating, growing, adapting, and/or evolving outside of any concentrated human settlement, and its heavily dependent Aristotelian paradigm; wildly distributed beyond urban areas, even beyond planet Earth.
  7. An ectopolitan is identical to the Ancient Greek daimon (δαίμων) concept (tutelary deity or spirit that watches over a person or place), and to the Buddhist bodhisattva concept [person both 'awake' (bodhi), and 'sentient' (sattva)].

Major quote

"An expatriate is a person residing in a country other than their native country or patria, often temporarily and for work-related reasons. An ectopolitan is an expatriate, spiritually and/or physically, to all countries or patriae. Cosmopolitans spiritually, and expatriates physically, are like stray domestic cats (Felis catus) which are still seeking a home among humans. Ectopolitans, on the other hand, spiritually and/or physically are more like totally feral cats, which don't even like humans and their fake natural societies enough to desire them. The most successful ectopolitans are the ones who are able to establish the human equivalent of a feline feral colony, or a Pythagorean koinonia (κοινωνία) — Ectogreek plural: koinonies (κοινωνίες). The most successful ectopolitans ultimately establish a native natural society (koinonia) or matria — Ectolatin plural: matriae."
